Pastor Greg Coleman

Greg Coleman is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and grew up in a community where church and sports would be a big part of his life. At an early age God told him that he would give him the desires of his heart, but in return, God would ask that Greg be a blessing to his people and he knew that a mandate had been placed on his life. As he excelled in sports this lead to a 12-year career with the distinction of being the first African American punter in the National Football League.
Fun Facts - Even before accepting the call to the ministry, God provided an opportunity for Greg to minister throughout the world., Greg spent several years in the Financial Services business. After spending 12 years int the National Football League. Greg and his Family joined the Living Word Church and World Outreach Ministries in 1993 he served as a volunteer in several ministries. In February of 2000 he was licensed and ordained as a Minister and in March of 2006 he was ordained as Pastor and serving as one of several Assistant Pastor under Apostle Lesley Ford.
Greg is a golf enthusiast, he carries a 10 handicap and has two golf tournaments. One in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida that provides scholarships to college bound students. ( He is also a member of the Minnesota Viking Radio [ KFAN ] broadcast team )
Greg has been married to his wife Eleanor for over 25 years they have two adult children, Cara & Gregory Jr. Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University in 1976 and his continued studies at Northwestern College and Spiritual Life Bible College. He has served in several areas of ministry at Living Word Church and World Outreach Ministries including Parking Lot, Ushers, Armerbearers and Praise Dance.
Currently at the Living Word Church and World Outreach Ministries Greg and his Wife Eleanor both serve as Team Leaders for Adult Ministries which includes: Married Couples, Men, Women, and Singles. He is also serves as one of the New Members Class Teachers.
