Our Pastors Services Prayer Request

Doctrinal Statement

We Believe:

  • Bible - The Bible is the written word of God inspired by God. II Timothy 3:16

  • God - God is one person expressed in three persons. Matthew 3:16-17 God the Father, Almighty, the author and creator of all things.John 14:20 , Matthew 6:8 God the Son, Jesus, the second person of the trinity. John 1:1 , Matthew 1:18,25 , Romans 5:10 The Holy Spirit is God the spirit, the third person of the trinity. He is co-equal and co-eternal with God the father and God the son. John 14:16-17

  • Jesus Christ - His substitutionary death and redemption through His blood for mankind. Isaiah 53:4-5 His bodily resurrection. Matthew 28:6-7,17 His ascension to the right hand of the Father. Mark 16:19 , Acts 2:33 His personal return to glory and power. Revelation 19:11,16 The deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ. John 1:1
  • satan - The reality of satan and his present control over unregenerate man.
    John 10:10 , II Corinthians 4:4

  • Man - Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin. Therefore, man
is lost. This makes it necessary for man's rebirth through confession of sin
and his belief in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Genesis 2:16,17 , Genesis 3:6 , Romans 5:12

  • Future Events - After death, eternal life begins in heaven for believers or in hell for
    unbelievers. Matthew 25:34,41 , Revelation 20:11-15

  • Finances - We believe in tithing (10% of your income) and bring offerings into the
local church. We also believe in giving alms (money or goods) to the poor, sick,
homeless and otherwise unfortunate. Malachi 3:8-11

  • Baptism & Communion - We believe in water baptism by immersion of the total body
after accepting Christ as your personal savior. This is a testimony of death to sin and
resurrection to a new life. We believe in baptizing in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ
and the authority in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. We believe The Lord's supper
is a memorial service setting forth in a sacred and symbolic manner, the death of the
Lord, Jesus Christ. All true believers and only believers should share in it.

  • The Holy Spirit - We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the
Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 10:46 , Acts 19:1-6 The Holy
Spirit has present day ministry in believers through the distribution of gifts.
    Acts 1:8 , I Corinthians 12:1 , I Corinthians 3:11
